Drawn to the layers of identity and the language of adornment, Betty’s practice spans Costume, Styling, and Cultural Research & Documentation. A Fashion Communication graduate from NIFT Mumbai and trained in Contemporary Fine Arts at Central Saint Martins, London, her work straddles storytelling, image-making, and cultural mapping.
Betty’s commercial portfolio includes brands like Meta, Tinder, Google Pixel, Instagram Reels, Sprite, Amazon Fashion, Kit Kat, Mango, and Tata Cliq. Her editorial work has appeared in Vogue India, Harper’s Bazaar, Grazia, and Elle. She also led uniform design for Nilaya Anthology through sartorial consultation. Shweta was invited by Norwegian Crafts to undertake a residency exploring gender, adornment, and modern sustainability. Betty’s world is one of character, context, and craft — where costume becomes a tool for narrative and identity.
