Exploring and documenting disappearing cultural gems and compelling human interest stories still find a strong place in his work. Nishanth’s images have a dynamic, hyperreal quality-  as seen in his projects for Outhouse, Raw Mango, Shivan & Naresh, Manish Arora, Bloni Atelier, Gaurav Gupta, to name a few.

He has shot for many major magazines in India like Grazia, Harper’s Bazaar, Cosmopolitan, Brides Today, Khush Magazine, etc. His technical detail and flair for lighting has made his work stand out in both the editorial and commercial space.

His project “The Gentle Reminder” documenting the Dussehra festival in South India made it to Dazed Digital, and his other photo stories have also been featured by i-D, National Geographic, Document Journal, ‘See Through’ by Marcus Almeida.
